I ran the Mackinaw "Great Turtle Trail Race" half marathon today.  The weather was cool and the first half of the run it rained really hard.  The course was a lot of fun though and once the rain stopped the temperature was perfect.  I ran with a garbage back until mile 10...not planning on it but it kept me "dry".

My hips started hurting at mile 11 but not too badly.  I was really glad I ran the race and would like to do it again next year. 8:25pace
